SYNOPSIS
For the last thirty years, paperboy Armin Lamprecht (55) trundled his car at night through the streets of Berlin's district Neuköln. Now he is under pressure to compete with younger co-workers and immigrants. Grudgingly following the boss' orders, Armin instructs the young Russian Igor Trelkovsky on his first day.
Igor responds to Armin's hostilities and taunting with kindness and cordiality. But when he goes too far, Igor wants to quit the job. Fearing the possible consequences, Armin forces himself to collaborate with the Russian. When homeless Anne steals Armin's cart full of newspapers, magazines and a bunch of keys, the two paper boys will put all hostilities to a side and chase her together.
