SYNOPSIS

In DEMBA, we follow 55-year-old Demba, who is about to retire after 30 years at the town hall in a small town in northern Senegal. That hot summer, as the 2nd anniversary of his wife's death approaches, he realizes that he cannot simply "shake off her passing". As his mental health deteriorates, he discovers a new bond with his once estranged son.
